**** I won the drawing at Card Positioning Systems this week! I am so happy. It's been a tough week medically for me because I developed complications from my hysterectomy and it will take a while to recover and get it under control. So this was a very nice surprise to find out I won the prize from Chris Franco, who sponsored this past weeks sketch drawing.

I have friends who like to knit and they have dogs or cats or dogs and cats! So when I saw this stamp, I just had to get it and make them a card.

Here are the items I used in making the cards:

Stamps: The Cats Pajamas for the image and the sentiment

Ink: Memento Black

Paper: Papertrey Ink Select White; DCWV Citrus matstack; Basic Grey Sugared; the doggy bone paper, I don't know who made that.

Ribbon: Papertrey Ink Spring Rain; doggy bone ribbon, not sure.

Colored with Copic markers.

CPS Sketch 108

This is my card for the Card Positioning Systems sketch this week. This week it's sponsored by Chris Franco, an independent demonstrator for The Angel Company.

I have loved the Crab and Co. stamp set from Stampin Up! since I first saw it last year. I was able to buy it second-hand from someone who was selling a lot of her older stamps. I really like the red, white and blue paper. I need to find some this summer and stock up. I just bought some premade 5 and a quarter square cards from California Paper Goods. I love the size of them.

Stamps and sentiment: Crab & Co. from Stampin Up!

Ink: Memento black

Paper: white square card from California Paper Goods. Stampers Select White from Papertrey Ink. Pure Poppy from Papertrey Ink. Blue from Prism. Designer paper "Confetti" from My Mind's Eye. Craft paper from Papertrey Ink.

Others: Martha Stewart sand dollar punch; Cuttlebug embossing folder tiny dots (I think); Copic markers; square nestibilities

CPS sketch 107

This is my entry for the sketch this week on Card Positioning Systems. I tried something new by stamping the sentiment onto the ribbon. I think it would be better with a lighter-colored ribbon. I sure do enjoy the CPS sketches. It helps me create. I'm not sure why my photo is blurry in one spot.

CPS 105 Snowman with Lights

I'm not crazy about this card but decided to go ahead and post it. I'm still learning! I followed the sketched used in Card Positioning Systems weekly challenge No. 105.

I used classic Yellowgreen Prism card stock from Stamper's Dream as the base. The DP is Happy Holidays from Fancypants that I got from Stamper's Dream. The stamp is a Lockhart Snowman with Lights that I got from Ellen Hutson. I colored the stamp with Copics. I used a scalloped scissor to cut some of the paper.
