PTI Blog Hop: Halloween tags and cards

Hello fellow stampers: This is the first time I have participated in PaperTrey Ink's blog hop. I love visiting the blogs and seeing the wonderful creations. There are so many talented card makers who love PTI products. I am always amazed at the talent of Nichole and the whole design team. Thank you for taking the time to look!

For this blog hop we are to celebrate all things autumn. I made some Halloween cards and tags. It's the first time I've made tags. They are fun, and I can imagine many more instances of things I can use to make tags. Hopefully I'll make more in the future.

This is a set of 3 tags. I used Cotton Scraps from Sharon Johnson's store. I stamped a background with the Polka Dots I stamp set from PTI using Oceans Tide and Summer Sunrise Ink. I used Summer Sunrise cardstock and Vintage cream cardstock. I used Summer Sunrise ribbon.

On another tag I used Enchanted Evening and Rustic Cream and Summer Sunrise cardstock, and stamped using Polka Dots I with Enchanted evening and Summer Sunrise. Enchanted evening ribbon was used. Cotton Scraps for the main image from Sharon Johnson's store.

The other tag was stamped with Polka Dots I with New Leaf from PTI and Pumpkin Pie from Stampin UP! Using Rustic Cream and New Leaf cardstock from PTI and Pumpkin Pie cardstock from STampinUP. New Leaf ribbon from PTI. Cotton Scraps from Sharon Johnson's store.

I made this card using the following: Rustic Cream and Ocean's Tide cardstock from PTI and Pumpkin Pie cardstock from STampin Up. Oceans Tide ink and pumpkin pie ink. Oceans Tide ribbon. Cotton Scraps for the image. I stamped "Happy Halloween" on the inside of all the cards.

I used PTI Kraft and True Black cardstock for the base on this card. Pumpkin Pie cardstock from STampin UP and Patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket. Cotton Scraps. Ribbon from Stamper's Dream store. I distressed some of the edges. And used the Vintage touch inks from PTI. I stamped the polka dots with the Polka Dot I stamps from PTI.

This card uses the Cotton Scraps. True Black and Vintage Cream and Summer Sunrise cardstock from PTI. True Black ribbon from PTI. Stamped with Polka Dot I stamps from PTI. Ink is True Black from PTI and Pumpkin Pie from Stampin UP. Punched the corners out with a ticket punch from Stampin Up.

Ladybug Thank You Notes

A blogging friend is having a baby shower for a friend. It will have a ladybug theme. She asked me to make some thank you notes for her to give the mom-to-be. Here is what I came up with.

I made 14 thank you notes and then stamped 14 envelopes with a little flower to match. I then made a box using Lauren Meader's Timeless Templates from Papertrey Ink. I used Diamond Glaze on the ladybug wings on the box to make them shine. I love PTI's thick white paper but when I need to cut an image out with scissors, I like to stamp it with GinaK's light weight luxury white card stock.

I hope my friend and the mom-to-be like this!

Stamps: Papertrey Ink Little Lady and Mixed Messages

Ink: Papertrey Ink True Black, Landscape, Lemon Tart, Pure Poppy

Ribbon: Papertrey Ink True Black

Paper: Papertrey Ink Stampers Select White, True Black, Pure Poppy; GinaK Pure Luxury Lightweight white

Other details: Papertrey Ink Timeless Templates Capture Card Case; Stickles red/gold; Diamond Glaze; Score Tape

baby giraffe koala card

I have two friends having babies this summer. One has already had a little girl and another is about to have a boy. I made these cards to go along with their gifts. They both got some of the baby note cards that I make. I love making baby cards...they are sweet and the colors are soft.

The baby image stamp in these cards is from Pink Cat Studio. The polka dot stamp is from PTI. Ribbon and card stock from PTI. Pattern paper from Michael's. Colored with Copic markers.

flowery cards

Here are a couple of cards I made this weekend. This one I made for a friend that earned her Ph.D. this spring. She is moving to Texas to teach at a university. We will sure miss her at church. She sat on the pew in front of Aunt Sue and I. She and nice man at church started dating at the beginning of the year! He has to stay here because he is in the military...but I sure hope that their life together is just getting started.

The stamps used on this card were from Papertrey Ink...(Vintage picnic) New Leaf green cardstock and kraft cardstock. Colored with copic markers. Just the Spellbinders nestibilities in my Cuttlebug to cut out the shape. Patterned paper is from Michael's but can't remember who the manufacture is. Ribbon is new leaf from PPI. Sentiment is from PPI stamp set called Wishing You.

Here is the other card made this weekend. This is a thank you card to a lady from church who invited us to lunch this past week. She lives in Oakridge, TN., but she and her husband have property and old family home here and come maintain it once in a while. It was a fun lunch and hope we can go again soon.

Details on this card are New Leaf cardstock from PPI. Patterned papers from Michael's. Stamp set is Violets from Flourishes. Colored with Copic markers. Ribbon is from Sharon Johnson's store. It's silk and really makes a nice bow. I also bought a Bow Easy from her store so I could tie nice bows! It makes a big difference. I used a Spellbinders nestabilities lab die to cut out the stamped image.

Thanks for stopping by!

Halloween card Witches Brew...witch in a hot tub

Well, it's not quite Halloween, but it's fun to make these cards. This is a new stamp from Impression Obsession. I colored it with Copic markers. The ribbon is from Michaels. The white, black and purple cardstock is from Papertrey Ink. The colorful dots paper, I don't remember where I got it last year. The bright orange paper is from a discount scrapbook store in Destin, Florida.

I'll be making more cards like this!

baby petal card

I made this baby greeting card last night. I put it on Etsy and it sold this morning...I was so happy. I think I'll make more of these.

I'm really wanting to make Halloween cards...so maybe some of those to come soon.
