Papertrey Ink January Blog Hop

I'm so glad to be able to participate in the Papertrey Ink Blog Hop this month. I have had Tiny Treats Christmas stamp set and this is the first time I've used it. Love all the tiny images that are available.

I made this card for a friend of mine who likes to decorate after Christmas for the "winter."

Eveything I used to make this card is from Papertrey Ink.

What's Cookin for Mojo Monday

I am trying to post more here and take part in some sketch challenges this year. I like the sketches that are at Mojo Monday. Here is this week's sketch.

This was an easy sketch but I did not plan well! My circles are too big for the card. But I like it anyway. I really like this stamp set called What's Cookin' from Taylored Expressions. There are a set of dies to match and that thrills me. I just did not use them on this card.

Thanks for coming by and checking it out.

Stamps: What's Cookin' by Taylored Expressions
Patterned Paper: Nook and Pantry by Basic Grey
Card Stock: PTI stampers select white and chocolate brown
Other: Copic markers, spellbinders dies, silk ribbon from Stamped Simply store.

This is the sketch for this week. It's sponsored by Flower Soft.

Here's a card I made for my husband. He doesn't look at my blogs, so it's safe to put here.

Naughty or Nice?

It's been a long time since I've really posted a card on here. I've made a few but not posted them here. I have always admired Jen's cards at I{heart}2stamp and all the other stampers works that do the Sketch For You To Try (SFYTT). She has decided to do this challenged once a month instead of every week. I'm sure that's more manageable for a lot folks. Anyway, I hope to do this challenge every month.

This is the sketch for January.

I know that The Cat's Pajamas calls this kitty "Sprinkle," but I call her "Sophie" because she really reminds me of Girlville's kitty named Sophie, who supervises any and all things that go on at her house! I love all the Sprinkle and Poochie stamps from TCP! I had fun doing this challenge from Sketch For You To Try! I hope to do one every month this year.

Stamps: The Cat's Pajamas
Cardstock: Scarlett Jewel, kraft, Stampers Select white, all PTI
Patterned Paper: Holiday Cheer from PTI
Ink: Memento Black
Other: Copics; button, PTI; twine, PTI, snowflake die, PTI, Spellbinders dies, embossing powder for stamping image

Christmas tags and a thank you card

I made this card for a friend who crafts a good bit. She sews the CUTEST aprons and banners. Here is her etsy shop, Fait Pour Vous. I recently bought an apron from her and she is also making me a pin cushion. I can't wait to see it when it arrives in a few weeks.

This is using the Taylor Expressions stamp set and dies from "What's Cookin'" and Basic Grey papers from last year's Eskimo Kisses paper. PTI card stock and Spellbinders nestabilities.

Aunt Sue and I made these tags recently. PTI tag 1 die and ric rac die. Christmas button bits stamp set. PTI buttons and ribbon. PTI kraft card stock and Martha Stewart stamp set that has snow flakes in it. And Martha Stewart coarse crystal glitter. We used a lot of these on praline pecan pound cake packages for people at church.

Minnie Mouse cards

Minnie Mouse cards that I made while on vacation. PTI cream colored cardstock and My Minds Eye Lush patterned paper. EK Disney stamps. Memento black ink. Paper Pieced the dress on Minnie and colored some with Copic markers. PPI sweet blush ribbon, sweet blush cardstock and nestibility square and scallop square dies. I wish that I had colored Minnie's face instead of leaving it the same as the cardstock. I did touch her eyes with a really light blue copic marker.

PTI Blog Hop: Halloween tags and cards

Hello fellow stampers: This is the first time I have participated in PaperTrey Ink's blog hop. I love visiting the blogs and seeing the wonderful creations. There are so many talented card makers who love PTI products. I am always amazed at the talent of Nichole and the whole design team. Thank you for taking the time to look!

For this blog hop we are to celebrate all things autumn. I made some Halloween cards and tags. It's the first time I've made tags. They are fun, and I can imagine many more instances of things I can use to make tags. Hopefully I'll make more in the future.

This is a set of 3 tags. I used Cotton Scraps from Sharon Johnson's store. I stamped a background with the Polka Dots I stamp set from PTI using Oceans Tide and Summer Sunrise Ink. I used Summer Sunrise cardstock and Vintage cream cardstock. I used Summer Sunrise ribbon.

On another tag I used Enchanted Evening and Rustic Cream and Summer Sunrise cardstock, and stamped using Polka Dots I with Enchanted evening and Summer Sunrise. Enchanted evening ribbon was used. Cotton Scraps for the main image from Sharon Johnson's store.

The other tag was stamped with Polka Dots I with New Leaf from PTI and Pumpkin Pie from Stampin UP! Using Rustic Cream and New Leaf cardstock from PTI and Pumpkin Pie cardstock from STampinUP. New Leaf ribbon from PTI. Cotton Scraps from Sharon Johnson's store.

I made this card using the following: Rustic Cream and Ocean's Tide cardstock from PTI and Pumpkin Pie cardstock from STampin Up. Oceans Tide ink and pumpkin pie ink. Oceans Tide ribbon. Cotton Scraps for the image. I stamped "Happy Halloween" on the inside of all the cards.

I used PTI Kraft and True Black cardstock for the base on this card. Pumpkin Pie cardstock from STampin UP and Patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket. Cotton Scraps. Ribbon from Stamper's Dream store. I distressed some of the edges. And used the Vintage touch inks from PTI. I stamped the polka dots with the Polka Dot I stamps from PTI.

This card uses the Cotton Scraps. True Black and Vintage Cream and Summer Sunrise cardstock from PTI. True Black ribbon from PTI. Stamped with Polka Dot I stamps from PTI. Ink is True Black from PTI and Pumpkin Pie from Stampin UP. Punched the corners out with a ticket punch from Stampin Up.
